Hello again… I recently posted my Singapore blog post that is pretty exhaustive (also you can’t blame me cause I had many months of deets in there). Here is my quick reference (read lazy reader) version:

My top 8 things to do in Singapore
1.Shop till you drop at one of the trillion malls
Ion, Paragon, Takashimaya, malls go into malls, there are as many floors up as there are going down into the basement. From the luxe-ist brands to local brand and high street fashion Orchard road is where it is all at.
Aside from these the ones with more low key and local brands are Bugis and centre point.
2. Eat the best Asian food you have ever had
From Singapore chicken and rice from Five Star to the best pork dumplings at Din Tai Fung, the food in Singapore is insane. Singapore chilli crab at Jumbo or No Signboard’s white pepper crab is a must have with the succulent steamed Chinese buns.

3. Gardens by the Bay
Experience this Avatar like Super tree Grove in the day or its spectacular light show at night. The flower dome has a million species of flowers and plants and pop up exhibits like the Sakura one. The almost dreamy Cloud dome, massive in door waterfall and teeny plant species have a really cool rain forest vibe.

4. Soak in the most fabulous views over cool cocktails at Spago , Marina Bay Sands
Funky cocktails, yummy finger food and views of the unmatchable Singapore skyline and the beautiful lit of Supertree grove and marina. Back sure you make a reservation at the bar.

5. Spend the day or weekend at Sentosa island
Sentosa has something fun for everyone, a spa day at Capella, a staycation at Shangri-La or a fun afternoon at one of the beach clubs like Tanjong beach club or FOC.
Try out some stand up paddle boarding at the cove or go crazy zip-lining.
Spend the day at Universal studios or touring the bird park. or for the little humans the night safari or SEA Aquarium is really eye opening to discover marine life.

6. Party the night away at some of the hippest bars and clubs
The party scene in SG is super fun. Hit up some trendy clubs like C’est La Vie or some cocktail bars at club street.
7. Absorb the gorgeous sights and vibes at Robertson quay walk
Robertson Quay, Clark quay and Boat quay all have fun bars and restaurants. Robertson quay is the least touristy and has some amazing spots like the hip and happening Publico for cocktails or Super Loca serving some of the best Tacos and Margheritas with endless bowls of Guac, who does not love Guac?

8. Window shop along Haji lane and discover a whole other world at Arab street
Boutiques with beautifully curated clothes, accessories, little stores with pop art, optician shops, and handbags. Take half a day to pop in and out of these beautiful stores and take breaks posing against the fabulous street art.
Pop across to Arab street for some finger licking good Turkish food at Alaturka some Arabic food at Beirut cafe.
